Bali, simply irresistible!

In brief, Bali is one of the 30 provinces of the Republic of Indonesia to the east of Java. Bali is divided into 8 regencies and 1 municipal city – Denpasar, which is the capital city of Bali province. It has a tropical climate all year round, with a wet monsoon season starting from December to March.

Bali was dubbed “Island of the Gods”, as thousands of temples have been erected on this island. Today, almost 90% of the population is of Balinese Hinduism.

It is often perceived as the Island of Paradise, and I totally agree to this title as being touched, felt and enjoyed the many wonders and beauties offered on and around this little mythical island : landscape, rice paddies on hillsides terrace, serene volcanoes, white long sandy beaches, warm blue water, beach sports, magnificent temples and palaces, rich past and heritage, friendly people...
It's truly irresistible!

NEC gang been there from 6/6/200 to 10/06/2008.

This is insight if Kuta Lagoon, the hotel we lodged. It's quite and cozy, how wish I could stay there for a longer period of time.

Here are few tourist attractions in Bali:

Tanah Lot Temple was built in the 16th century, ancient Tanah Lot temple perched on a huge rock off Bali's west coast, and is surrounded by tranquil sea. It was built to pay homage to the spiritual guardians of the sea.
Nice sunset view, it's a good destination for honeymoon.

Uluwatu, here is the cliff, not that bad as compared to the Scotland one.

If wearing shorts, we must wear the sarong and yellow belt to cover up. It's a kind of respect to their holy spirits.

Bedugul temple is having a refreshing cool fresh mountain air. The temple is situated on the lake.

The cozy ambient with cool fresh air, good for health, mind & soul.

Mt Batur Kintamani is still an active volcano. It offers a fascinating view of its huge mountain lake.
The ladder of rice paddies.

Kuta beach is a well-known spot for surfing, it's so called surfers' paradise.

Here 'The Lousiest Surfer Group Award' goes to...

I do love this blue blue sky and white sandy beach so much...

There is a famous Hard Rock Café located along Kuta's beach road, we been to buy some sourveniers and mercandises.

Along the Kuta beach road, there's a parade by Blue Toyota Vios, the name of the Taxi company is a bit funny in Hokkien, it's so called 'Blue Bird' Taxi ...

Another famous spot for water sport is Nusa Dua. There offers parachutte and flying fish. We are on the air-boat and being fly like a kite in the air.

About cultural show, Barong & Randa dance is a boring performance that depicts the battle between the good (Barong) and the evil (Rangda). Anyway, this is an exposure to Balinese culture.

Night life in Bali is fantastic, we enjoy drinks at price much more lower than can buy in Malaysia. We hang out in 'Paddy' which was being bombed in year 2002. The environment was kinda warm and humid, make us sweat a lot.

After all, It's truly a paradise for surfers, shopping, hungry and thirsty travelers. I bring back the joy, and left the stress & tension there.

Hope for revisit some other days.
